COVID-19 AHVI Office Update

Dear Patients,

The past few months have been trying times for our nation. Here in New Jersey, thus far a total of 146,334 persons have been diagnosed with COVID-19. 10,365 persons have tragically lost their lives to the virus.

There have been positive signs that with aggressive physical distancing, hand washing and facial coverings, the curve is on a downward swing. Though this pandemic is far from over we have learned much and are better prepared to address the situation as it continues to evolve.

In early March, we closed the office in order to participate in mitigating the risk. We remained active caring for patients in the hospital during the pandemic and using telemedicine conferencing to continue to address the needs of patients at large.

Now in mid-May we are pleased to announce that the office @AHVI is now officially open. As an essential business that cares for cardiovascular patients the office has resumed normal business hours.

We want to assure you that we are not however, returning to business as usual. We have implemented the highest safety standards within the practice and office to mitigate your risk.

As always, our main goal @AHVI remains a PATIENT and SAFETY-FIRST policy. Office traffic will be kept to a minimum. All staff and patients are using hand and topical fomite sanitizing. Respiratory mitigation using face coverings is mandated. Rooms benefit from natural UV light and each room is carefully cleaned and inspected after each encounter.

We are thrilled to be back at work and available to care for you and your loved ones. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. Telemedicine continues to be a cornerstone in our day to day operations as we are aware that some patients may not be ready to venture out for many reasons.

We look forward to your call! We look forward to caring for you!

Thank you,

Sincerely,

Dr. Espinoza was in the ER when my father was transported by ambulance. He had had a heart attack at home and waited 2 1/2 hours before calling 911! We were blessed to have Dr. Espinoza as the attending physician, who mobilized all medical resources, made all the right decisions and saved my father’s life. We are eternally grateful to Dr. Espinoza!! Hunterdon’s Finest!
